Job Responsibilities

As a machine operator, you will help maintain the city areas of Malmö, perform various construction work, manhole replacements, excavation, digging tree pits, and modification work in both street and park environments, among other tasks.

The work is scheduled during daytime hours from 07:00 to 16:00. On-call work may occur, primarily during the winter months. You should be accustomed to having breakfast and lunch at the workplace.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience as a machine operator on wheeled excavators and who has well-documented experience (at least 4 years and 6000 hours). You must have a machine operator's license for wheeled excavators and wheel loaders. Other relevant training and certifications are considered an advantage.

You must have at least a B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles and good knowledge of the Swedish language.

You work well independently and take the initiative to get the job done effectively, but you also work well in a team. Since you will be part of a larger context with close contact with colleagues, you need to be a positive person with good collaboration skills.

If you currently work in a cohesive team with a contractor who holds a machine operator's license, we are open to hiring contractors as well. However, this is dependent on whether you already work closely together today. Please feel free to contact the person mentioned in the ad and tell us more.
